AgustaWestland announced that its Philadelphia plant had made delivery on its 200th AW139 helicopter, a true product of excellence by the Finmecanica-AgustaWestland family, and in this case slated for the Yokohama Japan Fire Department, which had already received one earlier. The AW139 is the biggest seller in its class and has been produced at a rate of 40 units a year since 2006 in the Philadelphia plant, the only one, along with another in Vergiate, with a final assembly line for this helicopter.
