Dei/Sole 24 Ore – Algeria: 4 billion USD for industrial parks

ANIREF, the government agency tasked by the Ministry of Industry with SMEs and investment promotion, confirmed that its previous 5-year plan allotted 4 billion USD for the construction of 42 industrial parks. To date six of those contracts have been awarded through competitive bidding. For the others, the government has decided to compile a short-list of firms from which to draw for direct award through two separate selections processes: one for the design of industrial parks and the second for their construction.
