Hamburg – Writer Fabio Geda on a ‘mission’

Italian writer Fabio Geda made a “mission” to Hamburg, Germany, where he presented his latest novel at the Italian Cultural Institute. In the throes of a job and family crisis, the protagonist of the novel, “De la vita che salvi è la tua”, decides to sever all ties and start over again in New York as an illegal alien. During his visit to Germany, the writer held a seminar on writers’ responsibility at the Romanisches Seminar of the University of Kiel, in which he discussed writers such as Flannery O’Connor, Raymond Carver and Italo Calvino.
