The Italian Cultural Institute of Warsaw celebrated the 154th anniversary of Italian unification with a screening of the film “Noi credevamo” by director Mario Martone. Giancarlo De Cataldo’s screenplay was loosely based on the novel by the same title by Anna Banti and real historic events. The film tells the story of three young men from southern Italy who decide to participate in the political movement founded by Giuseppe Mazzini. Read more, in Italian.
