Tel Aviv – Italian Embassy in Israel celebrates the Liberation

The
Italian Embassy in Israel and the Italian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv are preparing to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Italy from Nazism-Fascism and to pay homage to the important role played by the Jewish Brigade. The event will take place on Sunday 25 April in Tel Aviv’s Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence of the State of Israel was proclaimed on 14 May 1948. Open to the public and entitled “Liberating Italy, Dreaming of Israel”, the event is one of the few outside Italy to be included in the official calendar of celebrations marking Italy’s Liberation Day, 25 April.
