The “Eduardo Mondlane” University in Maputo celebrated its 10th anniversary. Created within the context of Italy-Mozambique university cooperation involving the Universities of Rome, Pisa and Sassari, and the contributions of the Italian government and other national and international partners, the institution is now one of southern Africa’s centres of excellence for interdisciplinary research applied to agricultural and healthcare development.
