The 13th edition of the New York Prize for young emerging artists is now under way. The winners will be given the opportunity to live in the Big Apple for four months and experience its effervescent cultural and artistic environment.
A studio at the International Studio & Curatorial Program of Brooklyn
In addition to a ticket for New York, the two winners will receive a monthly stipend of 4,000 USD for food and lodgings, a studio space at the International Studio & Curatorial Program of Brooklyn and an exhibition of their works. They will also participate in a series of initiatives during their stay, from the activities organized by the Italian cultural Institute of New York and the Italian Academy to classes in art history, film theory, visual arts and architecture at Columbia University.
Deadline 23 August
The deadline for applications is 23 August, and the competition is reserved for Italian artists working in the visual arts that have had at least one solo exhibition and possess an adequate level of spoken English.
