In this year of the EXPO, the Italian Cultural Institute of Toronto has brought the exhibition “Milan, a place to read” to Canada. The exhibition’s aim is to help discover the marvels of the Lombard capital, fulcrum of Italian publishing. Hosted at the Robarts Library, the exhibition takes its cue from some of the city’s best known icons – La Scala, the Illuminists, the Polytechnic, San Siro, the Stock Exchange, the Central Station – to approach it from a lesser known perspective, creating a variety of non-linear itineraries that follow the suggestions of literature. Open to the public through 27 August. Read more, in Italian.
