A new festival – “Italia in doc” – dedicated to Italian documentary filmmaking got under way in Brussels on 26 November, organised by the Italian Cultural Institute of the Belgian capital. The event was divided into two sections: the eight films competing and a retrospective dedicated to Italian documentary great Cecilia Mangini. The event also launched the first issue of “Cartaditalia”, the Institute’s new quadrilingual magazine devoted to various fields of contemporary Italian art and culture. Read more, in Italian.
