Pretoria – Pianist and composer Alessandro Martire takes the stage

Anybody naming Alessandro Martire refers to a talented young pianist and composer who has been fascinating Italian audiences, and not only, during the past few years. His concerts include original pieces of music which he has performed throughout the world: from Hong Kong to Seoul to Boston. What is the secret of his success? Soft and pensive melodies in an extremely personal style that combines classical contemporary music with elements from pop, minimal and crossover music. Alessandro Martire is now getting ready to perform his successful “Flames of Joy World Tour 2016-2017” in Pretoria, the administrative capital of South Africa. Born in Como on 12 July 1992, Martire started his studies at the Music Centre of Como when he was only 11. In August 2012, he attended a New Age Composition course at the Berklee (College of music) in Boston. The concert is scheduled at 7 p.m. on 4 November at the Brooklyn Theatre of Pretoria (Greenlyn Village Centre, C/o Thomas Edison and 13th Streets, Menlo Park). The concert was organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in Pretoria.
