A study on scientific and technological cooperation with China, addressed to industries, universities and research institutions, which presents the issues on which to focus the efforts of the next five years.
The document – which renews MAECI’s commitment to the coordination of bilateral cooperation with China – was created with the contribution of the Italian scientific attachés accredited in the People’s Republic of China and of the participants in the Technical Committee for scientific and technological cooperation with China, coordinated by the Italian Foreign Ministry.
The aim is to stimulate new bilateral cooperation initiatives with a view to linking research, higher education and industry in the following sectors: 1) physics, geophysics and space; 2) advanced materials; 3) environment and energy; 4) sustainable urbanisation; 5) new technologies for cultural heritage; 6) agriculture; 7) life sciences, health and wellness; 8) smart factory.
