Minister Di Maio holds telephone talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Marc Garneau

On 17 March, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, held telephone talks with his Canadian counterpart Marc Garneau.

The talks centred on bilateral and multilateral cooperation, with a focus on the Italian G20 Presidency. The response to Covid-19, the Canadian initiative on arbitrary detention and EU-Canada relations were also on the agenda.
