The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, chairs the plenary session of the Italy-Ukraine Business Forum organised by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
Speakers also include the Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Yulia Svyrydenko, the Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy , Adolfo Urso, the President of the Italian Trade Agency ( ITA), Matteo Zoppas , and the Acting Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence, Luisa Riccardi. At the end of the session, several Memorandums of Understanding will be signed.
The Forum, which will be attended by many guests including representatives of the business world, leading financial institutions and trade associations, is a preparatory event in view of the Ukraine Recovery Conference to be held in Rome on 10 and 11 July 2025.
The Forum will feature a series of B2B and B2G meetings and thematic discussions, held behind closed doors, which will take place during the afternoon and will focus on sectors identified as priorities for the reconstruction of Ukraine: metallurgy and critical raw materials, energy transition and renewable energy, defence industry, agro-industry and machinery.
