Deputy Minister Dassù visits Budapest for CEI Ministerial

Deputy Foreign Minister Marta Dassù is in Budapest today for a meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Central European Initiative (CEI) organised by its Hungarian duty president at Gödöllő Castle.

Deputy Minister Dassù will hold bilateral meetings in the margins with, among others, Hungarian Foreign Minister Janos Martonyi and Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati, to be followed by a brief meeting with Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs of the United States State Department Victoria Nuland.

The trip to Budapest will also offer an opportunity to confirm Italy’s support for a regional cooperation organisation that plays an important role in closing the distance between countries particularly key to European stability and to our country’s interests.
