Serbia’s significant progress along the path to EU integration and excellent bilateral relations were the focus of Deputy Foreign Minister Marta Dassù’s meeting today with Minister for European Integration of Serbia Branko Rusic and Chief Serbian Negotiator with the EU Tanja Miscevic.
Deputy Minister Dassù confirmed Italy’s commitment to having the intergovernmental conference with Serbia for the launch of negotiations convened by the end of the year, or at least no later than January 2014.
Satisfaction was expressed for the excellent economic results achieved this year, with Italy Belgrade’s top investor and trade partner.
