The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation expresses its firm condemnation for the terror attack that struck the Old City of Jerusalem this morning, killing two Israeli police officers and injuring another.
While conveying warm sympathy to the families of the victims and addressing wishes for a quick recovery to the injured officer, Italy expresses its most sincere wish for such a vile act not to escalate tensions and violence either in Jerusalem’s holy sites or anywhere else.
