City of Derna

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano: “Following the air strikes that hit the city of Derna yesterday evening causing death and injuries, we wish to express that our thoughts are with the families of the victims and our solidarity is with the population of the city. We trust that humanitarian organisations will be able to gain speedy access so they can assist the wounded and bring the necessary help to relieve the suffering of the people”.
