The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano participates in the Dialogue Forum between Italy and Switzerland in Lugano. The Forum, that is now in its fourth edition, is designed to intensify a dialogue between civil societies in an informal context. It brings together Italian and Swiss distinguished experts from the world of culture, science, economics and finance.
At 11:00 a.m. Minister Alfano opens the Forum at the presence of the Federal Councillor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, Didier Burkhalter. The Forum is held at the premises of the Universita’ della Svizzera italiana.
Minister Alfano is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with his Swiss counterpart at 12:00, on the fringes of the Dialogue Forum. The state of bilateral relations between the two Countries , relations with the European Union, the Italian Chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in 2018 and the OSCE Mediterranean Conference, to take place on 24-25 October,2017 in Palermo, are among the topics on the meeting’s agenda.
