Message of condolences from Minister Alfano to Secretary of State Tillerson

“Mr. Secretary of State,I was deeply shocked and saddened by the vile act  of violence that struck the city of Las Vegas, resulting in a high number of victims and injured people among the innocent crowd gathered to enjoy a concert. Italy firmly condemns this atrocious crime, which has caused horror, indignation and deep sorrow in our public opinion.On this day of mourning, Italy wishes to express once again its solidarity and brotherly closeness to our friend, the United States of America.Mr. Secretary General, I ask you to please convey these sentiments of sincere solidarity to the families of the victims and to the people of the United States of America.While once again offering my deepest condolences, I would like to take this opportunity to send you my best regards.
