OSCE: Alfano meets his Montenegrin colleague, Darmanovic: the integration of the Western Balkans is our strategic priority

“Our excellent bilateral relations rest on a strong strategic partnership, which has been consolidated by an intense political dialogue at all levels,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, when meeting with his Montenegrin counterpart, Srdan Darmanovic, on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Meeting in Vienna.”A progressive political and economic integration of the Western Balkans in Europe is a strategic priority for our Country. The Italian Presidency of the OSCE will keep attention focused on the region, in line with our ambition to contribute to restoring trust and cooperation inspired by the “spirit of Helsinki”, Minister Alfano added.
