The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, today received at the Farnesina the Speaker of the Knesset, Yuli Yoel Edelstein, in Rome to attend the “Rome Med Dialogues” Conference.
The meeting overviewed the excellent relations between Italy and Israel, with a special focus on the prospects of boosting cooperation not only in economic and commercial sectors but also in the area of science and culture.
In exchanging opinions on issues of mutual interest, the Minister reaffirmed Italy’s commitment to the assure the security and stabilisation of the Mediterranean area, and especially illustrate the outcome of the Conference for Libya held in Palermo.
