Referring to the news released by the AGI media agency tonight at 8:10 p.m. titled: “The Foreign Ministry does not receive Maduro envoy”, we hereby clarify that the Foreign Ministry today received an Official Note from the Venezuelan Embassy in Rome asking for a meeting of the Deputy Minister for Europe of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yvan Gil, with Undersecretary Guglielmo Picchi. The Note has been brought to the attention of the Undersecretary’s Secretariat.
