Telephone conversation of Minister Di Maio with the Turkish Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu

Minister Luigi Di Maio had a long telephone conversation today with the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. At the centre of the conversation was Libya, regarding which the two Ministers reiterated the importance of ensuring a political process. Di Maio and Çavuşoğlu also exchanged views on the European operation IRINI and the implementation of the UN arms embargo in Libya. Finally, they addressed the issue of the return of tourist flows and more generally bilateral relations.
