The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation confirms that the Israeli authorities have certified, through DNA testing, the death of Eviatar Moshe Kipnis, a 65-year-old Italian-Israeli citizen, who has been unaccounted for since Saturday, 7 October after the terrorist attack against the Be’eri kibbutz.
The Italian Embassy in Tel Aviv is in contact with the family to assure them of any possible assistance at this difficult time.
In expressing condolences to the family of Mr. Kipnis, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, reiterates the Government’s utmost commitment to finding the other two Italian-Israeli citizens who are still unaccounted for.
