The concept note that will guide the proceedings of the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025, to be hosted by Italy in Rome on 10–11 July in co-organisation with Kyiv, is now available on the official conference website.
The note outlines the main components of the Conference and recalls its primary objective: to raise awareness and mobilise international support and investment for the recovery, reconstruction, reform, and modernisation of Ukraine.
The note sets out the four thematic Dimensions of the Conference:
- Business Dimension, aimed at promoting the involvement of private capital in Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction through dedicated instruments;
- Human Dimension, focused on ensuring the return and reintegration of Ukrainian citizens and rebuilding the country’s social fabric starting with civil infrastructure;
- Local and Regional Dimension, which will explore how to effectively engage local and regional authorities in the recovery and reconstruction process;
- Reform Dimension, dedicated to advancing Ukraine’s reform process in the context of its path towards EU accession.
The Conference will also feature a Recovery Forum, providing a platform for all stakeholders – particularly private companies – to engage with the Ukrainian government and international financial institutions on how best to participate in the reconstruction process in key sectors. Additionally, a Business Fair will offer exhibition spaces for Italian, Ukrainian, and international companies.
