Thanks to the joint invitation extended by Festival Academy and Festival PesText, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Budapest, Alessandro Baricco was the protagonist of a meeting at the Ferenc Liszt Music Academy, where he had a chat with Zsófia Czakó.
It was Baricco’s first time in the Hungarian capital.
Alessandro Baricco is one of the most versatile contemporary Italian intellectuals. A writer (his novels include “Novecento”, “Ocean Sea” and “Silk”), playwright and essayist, Baricco has recently published collections in which he explores the relationship between writing and the digital cultural revolution. In “The Game”, he revisited this topic, broadening his perspective to the impact of the digital revolution on humanist thought and culture.
