The Virtual Roadshow of the Pact for Export closes

Appointment today with the 10th stage of the Roadshow on the Pact for Export, which closes the cycle of virtual meetings started last August 31st, organised by the Foreign Ministry, in cooperation with ICE-Agency, SACE, SIMEST, Conference of Regions and Unioncamere.

Today’s stage dedicated to businesses in Sicily and Sardinia was attended by the Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Manlio Di Stefano.

During the 10 stages of the Roadshow, the representatives of MAECI, the Regions, ICE Agency, SACE, SIMEST and Unioncamere illustrated in detail the strategy of public support to relaunch and strengthen the presence of our companies on the international scene; a strategy that draws strength from the Pact for Export signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio on 8th June, together with 45 heads of ministries, trade associations, sector federations and institutions of the Country System in support of internationalisation.

Undersecretary Di Stefano also announced today the birth of the single portal for companies, especially small and medium enterprises, to access services and tools to support export and internationalisation: www.export.gov.it, active as of today. Companies have a home in every place in the world” to turn to, he said. “The Pact for Export – he added – Is a real roadmap of initiatives, measures, actions, interventions to relaunch the international image of Italy and the expansion of ‘Made in Italy’ throughout the world”.

The same Minister Di Maio personally spoke at two of the stages of the Roadshow: on September 2nd in Padua for the stage dedicated to Veneto and Lombardy and on September 9th in Rome for the stage of Tuscany and Lazio which was also attended by the Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte.

Overall, the Roadshow has totaled the presence of about 4,500 companies throughout the country. The documents and presentations of each stage are available on the dedicated website https://roadshowpattoexport2020.ice.it/ where it is also possible to review the live coverage of all the stages.
