Bookings to visit the Farnesina Palace and its Collection on June 23, the last scheduled tour before the summer break, are now open.
The event is part of the Italian Touring Club’s “Aperti per voi” (Open for You) initiative, which the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation joined in 2016.
In addition to visiting the main halls of the building, where the works of the greatest Italian artists of the 20th century and the thematic sections of the Farnesina Collection – including the photography and reportage gallery and the illustration and street art gallery – are set up, it will be possible to walk through the spaces of the Crisis Unit, thus discovering the main activities carried out in cases of emergency for the protection of Italian citizens abroad. The visit will also include access to the “Sala delle Bandiere”, which houses the largest collection of international flags of the Italian Public Administration.
