PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTICE ­- Reminder – Presentation of the 8th edition of the Annual Report “China 2017. Corporate Scenarios and Perspectives” (Farnesina, 18 July 2017)

On Tuesday, 18 July 2017, at 11:00 a.m., the Farnesina will host the presentation of the 8th edition of the Annual Report: “China in 2017 – Corporate Scenarios and Perspectives”, elaborated by the Centre of Studies for Enterprises of the Italy-China Foundation (CeSIF).

The annual Report, published by the Italy-China Foundation, is among the most important outlooks on China currently released in Italy. The Report illustrates political and economic scenarios and the way of starting to do business in China, complete with the implications for foreign companies and the sectorial opportunities for Italian companies, in addition to the income opportunities created in Italy (investments, tourists, students).  

The opening remarks will be made by Ettore Francesco Sequi, the Italian Ambassador in China (via video conference call), Ivan Scalfarotto, the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economic Development (via video conference call), Li Ruiyu, the Chinese Ambassador to Italy and Cesare Romiti, President of the Italy-China Foundation. The debate will be moderated by Vincenzo De Luca, Director General for Economic and Cultural Promotion and Innovation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The day’s agenda also envisages contributions by Filippo Fasulo and Alberto Rossi from CeSIF, Francesco Palumbo, Director of the General Tourism Directorate at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, Enrico Toti, Head of the China Desk NCTM, Fausto Palombelli, Director of Marketing and Developing Aviation at Aeroporti di Roma and Silvio Angori, CEO and General Manager of Pininfarina.

Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to apply for accreditation in one of the following two ways:

–    by filling the interactive form and clicking on the event concerned at the link http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp, attaching thereto, unless already provided, the documentation requested in digital format (letter from the media organisation and, for representatives of foreign media, also a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country).    

–   by sending an email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s Institutional Press and Communication Service at the following address: accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (Tel. + 39 06/3691.3432 or 8573 or 8210), attaching thereto the letter of his/her media organisation (or press card) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country.

Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews may enter the Ministry from the main entrance– left-hand side – from 10:15 to 11:00 a.m.
