Bruno Bavota is a Neapolitan pianist and composer (1984) at the centre of the international scene of modern classical music. Critics have compared him to artists such as Ludovico Einaudi, Yann Tiersen, Hammock and Balmorhea, from whom he distinguishes himself thanks to his very personal style. His music reflects the characteristics of Naples, his hometown, which continues to be his main source of inspiration also today. The musician has released five records that have been great hits. He has performed at London’s Royal Albert Hall and worked with Oscar winning film director Paolo Sorrentino who put one of his pieces in the sound track of his famous “The Young Pope” series and the Californian company Apple used his music for a commercial.
His “La Luce nel Cuore” piece marked a big success on Spotify with more than five million streaming downloads.
In 2018 Bruno Bavota is on a tour across Europe which, for the first time, also includes the Czech Republic, with an inaugural concert at the 11th Italian “Dolce Vitaj” Festival, organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in Bratislava.
