The Milan Polytechnic participates in the Creativity Month opened at the Jinsha Ecool Park, the Design District of Chongqing, in China. The Ecool Park, located in a decommissioned factory, is an enormous complex dedicated to creative industries in the perspective of becoming the major design district in all of Southwest China. It houses exhibition spaces, art galleries, libraries, design research centres and laboratories for designers, artists and creatives. Once it is finished, it will be capable to host 300 companies and more than 10,000 workers. At the opening of the Creativity Month, which was also attended by Italian Consul General, Filippo Nicosia, a cooperation agreement in the field of design was signed between the Milan Polytechnic and the SOE China Merchants, the district’s managing company, which also gives the Italian University the possibility to organise the third edition of the Italian Design Day in the World scheduled for 2019.
