Italian Cuisine Week: Armenia hosts a seminar on food security

Food security, economic growth and developing human capital are the topics of the conference organised in Yerevan by the Italian Embassy in Armenia together with the World Food Program Armenia to celebrate the Italian Cuisine Week in the World. Private sector companies and international experts from Armenia, China, the EU, Italy and the Russian Federation will discuss the future of food production systems, the impact of food on public health and what the national and international food markets want. The Conference will also focus on how green technologies and nanotechnologies can improve food security in the future and will close with a tasting of the dishes prepared by the 3 Michelin-star winning Chef, Italo Bassi.
