Undersecretary Ivan Scalfarotto inaugurated the new premises of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China. “It is an important presence which fosters the internationalization of the over 1,200 Italian businesses that operate in Shanghai – a market with a great potential,” said the Undersecretary.

With regards to the circular economy, Undersecretary Scalfarotto took part in the ceremony of the signing of trade agreements between the companies of the Saxagres and Tagina Groups and Keda Clean Energy, a Chinese multinational corporation, and Hong Yu, China’s second largest ceramics company specializing in supplying and exporting products derived from the ashes produced by Italian waste-to-energy plants.

Finally, Undersecretary Scalfarotto met with the representatives of the soon-to-be established Altagamma Club Shanghai, a task force which is designed to gather all Italian high-profile cultural and creative companies. “With competition growing steadily at the international level, our government must support high value-added productions, which are the result of the great work of our companies,” said Scalfarotto.
