Belgrade: 24 hours devoted to Italian style

The Italian Institute of Culture in Belgrade has hosted the 10th edition of the event called “24 Hours of Elegance” dedicated to Italian masters of tailoring. On 30 September, in collaboration with DeGorsi Luxury Consulting, the Institute hosted a series of initiatives as part of the “Beautiful and Well-crafted” event.

During the event, a book on the 10 years of the “24 Hours of Elegance” initiative was also presented, recounting the story of the work of the greatest craftsmen of handmade goods who have become icons of a past era, thanks to their creativity and elegance, symbolic in their capacity to counterbalance the mass production sector and fashion industry. A documentary called “54 Hours of Rubinacci” was also screened, illustrating all the stages involved in creating a tailored suit at the atelier of one of the greatest Neapolitan experts of Rubinacci.

For the occasion, two exhibitions were also held, one showcasing hand-crafted garments by the greatest Italian masters of elegance, such as Sciamat, Chiaia, Rubinacci, Liverano, A. Caraceni and a second exhibition on hand-crafted goods from Serbia, with the best output of Serbian artisans. Finally, there was a round table on the theme “Artisans and the new normality”, featuring a discussion between Valentino Ricci (Sciamat), Gennaro Annunziata (Chiaia), Fabio Attanasio (The Bespoke Dudes) and Stefania Ferrero (Faggioli Atelier).
