Four culinary events in Tashkent’s most Italian-inspired restaurants to demonstrate the value of the long history of Italian cuisine. This is the programme of the Italian Embassy in Uzbekistan to celebrate the VI edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World.
The four events will be run by a chef and educator sent by the Slow Food association, Daniele Citeroni Maurizi. In addition to his long experience in the kitchen, in his restaurant (Ophis, Offida, since 2000), his passion for sharing the typical recipes of his Marche Region led him in 2018 to the publication of the book “La Cucina Picena”.
Pride in his local area and a focus on sustainability have led the chef to turn, since 2010, exclusively to local producers and suppliers of quality and not classifiable as “large-scale distribution”.
