The “Week of Italian Cuisine in the World” at Baku lights up with three Michelin stars. In fact, Chef Heinz Beck will be representing the brilliance of the Italian culinary art in Azerbaijan. Healthy cuisine and valorization of production zones, innovation and biodiversity are the key elements of the intense program organized by the Italian Embassy, in collaboration with the ICE office in Baku.
Three special evening events have been scheduled at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baku, focusing on the valorization of Italian food and wine production, in a program that will exalt the quality and benefits of the Mediterranean diet.
In collaboration with the Culinary Association of Azerbaijan, Chef Beck will also be featured on a televised masterclass where he will meet and exchange views with a renowned local chef on the subject of nutritional sustainability and product authenticity, as well as the preparation of dishes of the national tradition. For the entire week of Italian cuisine, Italian restaurants and chefs operating in Baku will offer special menus, featuring particular regional Italian dishes, as a means of valorizing our foods and wines, also calling attention to the tourist attractions related to them.
At the conclusion of the events, a workshop will be held at the international school “Culinary Arts Center of Azerbaijan (CÀSÀ)” where over forty local chefs will receive a master lesson from Chef Beck, streamed simultaneously for students and professors at the Institutes for Tourism and Hotels of Baku.
