The Italian Embassy in Bratislava inaugurated the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World with a Cooking and Tasting Show featuring Michelin-starred chef Marco Miglioli. In Bratislava, Chef Miglioli realised a menu with Italian and Slovak influences, with a focus on local and sustainable food products, in the presence of representatives of the business sector, food industries and with the participation of the President of the Association of Slovak Chefs. Chef Miglioli – who was born in Turin and trained with outstanding chefs such as Antonino Cannavacciuolo and Michel Roux, working at the latter’s Parliament Square restaurant in London – also participated in the production of three video clips, subtitled in Slovak, in which he revisits some of the best-known Italian recipes. Matej Cifra (a.k.a. Sajfa), radio presenter and creator of a YouTube talk show with a national following, and Dado Nagy, literary critic and journalist, also took part in the video clips. The videos can be viewed on the social channels of the Embassy and the Italian Cultural Institute in Bratislava and are also advertised on the websites of the Italian-Slovak Chamber Chamber of Commerce and of the Slovak Association of Chefs.
