The conflict in Ukraine, food and energy security, the stabilization of Libya and the situation in the Sahel were the topics on the agenda of the meeting in Ottawa between the Farnesina’s Director General for Political Affairs and Security, Ambassador Pasquale Ferrara, and his Canadian counterpart, Heidi Hulan.
Ambassador Pasquale Ferrara, on an official visit to Canada to mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Canada, was accompanied by the Italian Ambassador in Ottawa, Andrea Ferrari. In addition to Heidi Hulan, the meeting was also attended by officials of Canada’s Privy Coucil Office. The aim of the diplomatic mission was to establish a strategic dialogue between the two Countries on political and security issues.
