Photoansa 2024 arrived in Brussels at the Residence of the Italian Ambassador to Belgium, Federica Favi, for the second stop of its international mini-tour. The event marked the 20th anniversary of Photoansa and the 80th anniversary of the ANSA news agency. Among those in attendance were ANSA’s CEO, Stefano De Alessandri, its Director, Luigi Contu, as well as Members of the European Parliament and senior officials from the EU and NATO institutions. During the official addresses, a message from the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, was also read.
“This initiative reflects the natural collaboration between ANSA and the diplomatic network at the heart of Europe,” Ambassador Favi highlighted, expressing gratitude to the agency for continuing to tell Italy’s story through words and images. She also emphasised “the added value of the Photoansa book, which captures the emotions of key moments that define the year.”
The event was followed by over 200,000 viewers via live streaming on the ANSA platform and was promoted in partnership with the agency across various social media channels.
