Rome MED Dialogues

Rome MED Dialogues is the international conference that since 2015 has been bringing together in Rome, on a yearly basis, top-level political and institutional representatives, officials, experts, analysts and representatives from society, economy and media to discuss some of the key issues for the Mediterranean and to improve intra-regional cooperation. The event aims at fostering an open and informal high-level debate on the challenges of the enlarged Mediterranean, in order to highlight the centrality of this strategic region for Italy’s foreign policy and to define a “Positive Agenda” for the relaunch of the region.

The Conference is organised in collaboration with ISPI, the Institute for International Policy Studies, through a year-long Memorandum of Understanding, with the aim of deepening the scientific aspects of security and the resolution of ongoing conflicts, economic development and infrastructure, migration, culture and scientific and technological research.
