InsiemepergliSDG

#InsiemepergliSDG is the campaign promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, together with its partners, namely FAO, UN SDG Action Campaign, European Commission, CIHEAM Iamb in Bari and Save the Children. Since October 2020, the initiative #InsiemepergliSDG has travelled to the cities of Bari, Teramo, Rome, Prato, Cremona, Milan, Siena, Brescia, Bergamo, Naples and Trieste, helping to reach millions of people. In 2024 the campaign will reach the cities of Palermo (16-19 May 2024) and Pescara (October 2024) turning the spotlight on the role of Italian port cities in sustainable development.

Each stage of #InsiemepergliSDG contributes to a path that creates links and relations between the partners promoting the initiative and local realities with the aim of bringing out and enhancing the best local experiences. The initiative supports and develops sharing paths through training and education, participatory politics, active citizenship, play and creativity. Finally, the initiative develops partnerships with local media to promote the campaign messages and participation on the territory.

The two travelling installations created in collaboration with partners to inform and empower young people and families about the SDGs and the role each individual can play in achieving them are an integral part of the campaign #InsiemepergliSDG. An innovative way to describe, with practical examples, the work of Italian Cooperation and its international, national and local partners for a more equitable, sustainable and peaceful planet.

The format of the campaign envisages many activities, defined together with the local partners, including workshops organised by Save the Children Italy, illustrating the SDGs to children, teenagers and schools; extraordinary municipal councils on the Agenda2030 organised in collaboration with the local partner bodies; media partnerships both at local and national level; the Will Meets, organised by the national media partner Will Media in collaboration with the municipality and the university; creation of street-art murals on the Sustainable Development Goals, such as those already created in the cities of Teramo (3 murals) and Cremona (the largest smog-eating mural in Europe) in partnership with the UN SDG Action Campaign.

WILL MEDIA is the national media partner. Local media partnerships are also activated at each stage.
