“Latin America a key actor on the 21st century stage. Meetings and opportunities” is the subject of the first cycle of conferences for Latin American Ambassadors taking place at the Italian-Latin American Institute (IILA) from 28 March to 23 May 2012.
The initiative is intended as an opportunity for representatives of the diplomatic and business communities, as well as trade associations and the media, to meet and to examine and discuss Latin American investment markets.
The programme includes five fortnightly meetings (which will run from 28 March to 23 May). At each meeting, four Latin American Ambassadors will present investment opportunities in their countries, in various sectors, to Italian companies. They will illustrate the strong points for investments, their country’s economic-commercial strategy and any other detailed information for those interested in economic and co
mmercial cooperation with Latin American partners.
Space will also be reserved in the programme for “B2B” meetings between each diplomatic representation and Italian companies interested in establishing direct contacts.
The event has been organised by the IILA, along with the embassies of its member states and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with Diplomacy-Festival della Diplomazia.
