May 9th was the first day for the Italian school in Istanbul. The opening event, promoted by the Consulate General of Italy, brought together the main Italian scholastic and cultural institutions of Istanbul, to both strengthen ties between them and to encourage the resident Italian community to help their Turkish neighbours to gain a deeper understanding of Italian culture and our country’s potential.
