The Italian Embassy in Moscow has opened the “Window of Opportunities” on its website: an instrument providing free access, with no need for registration, to a database containing information on all the calls for tender issued by the Russian authorities at both the central and local levels. The database, in Italian, is updated daily.
News on tenders issued by the Russian authorities
To start with, on an experimental basis, only tenders for sums of over 20 million rubles (about 500,000 euros) will be published. The tenders will be broken down by macro-sector. Tender notices that meet the required criteria for publication on “Ex-Tender” will also be reported.
Before launching the initiative, key representatives of the Italian business world were surveyed, with an encouraging response. The Italian Trade Institute expressed a willingness to take part, as did the AGI press agency, which will study the project with a view to extending it.
The next step will be to study the possibility of expanding the scope of the project by including the “Window” in a special website run by AGI and dedicated to Russia, along the lines of “Agi-China 24”.
