Officers and employees of international organisations will be involved in a course being held from 17 to 21 June at the International Institute for Humanitarian Law (IIHL), located in Villa Ormond, on compliance with international humanitarian law and human rights in peace operations. The participants, who have come from various part of the world (Afghanistan, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Croatia, Egypt, Israel, India, Italy, Kenya, Libya, Moldavia, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Sweden, South Sudan, Tunisia and Uganda) are currently engaged in UN peace operations in countries (Afghanistan, Lebanon and South Sudan) and areas affected by conflict.
