Promos, the Milan Chamber of Commerce’s special agency for internationalisation, is organising a business mission to Kenya and Tanzania from 6 to 13 November, in collaboration with the Private Sector Liaison Officer Network of the World Bank, and along with other European agencies for the promotion of the private sector. The international mission is being coordinated by Flanders Investment & Trade (Belgium) and carried out in collaboration with the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Greece), TUSIAD (Turkey), ScottishDevelopment International (IK) and Generalitat de Catalunya (Spain) and the World Bank. The initiative will aim, in particular, at encouraging the two countries’ encounter with European SMEs and representatives of the World Bank, the African Development Bank, government agencies and private sector representatives, for the purpose of illustrating the opportunities offered by the procurement and projects financed by international organisations in those countries.
