Italy-China – Growing cooperation in architecture and design

Italo-Chinese cooperation in architecture and design is increasing. A ceremony was recently held in Chengdu for the opening of an Italian innovation and design centre, created in collaboration with the association of interior decorators of that city and the Milan Polytechnic Institute (Polimi). The event was attended by the association’s president, Mrs. Zhang Daiying, architect and Polytechic delegate Silvia Giachini and important urban design figures of Sichuan that included Bu Xuedong, Deputy Inspector for Urban and Rural Construction of Chendu.
