Madrid – “Passione Italia” back with food, music and tourism

Food, tourism and music will be offered in addition to a large number of activities for adults and children alike. Again this year the excellence of Made in Italy products will be showcased in the eighth edition of “Passione Italia”, an event organised by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Spain (CCIS), in partnership with the principal Italian Institutions in the Country. It will take place from 2 to 5 June at the Italian School in Madrid (Calle Agustín de Betancourt, 1). The June 3 event will be dedicated to the wine and food and tourism sectors. In parallel, the Consular Chancery of the Italian Embassy will host B2B meetings between local companies, consortia, distributors and tour operators invited by the Chamber of Commerce. The agenda of June 4 will start with an official welcome by Italian Ambassador Stefano Sannino with the attendance of the president of CCIS, Marco Pizzi, and the representatives of Italian institutions in Spain. The programme will also include some new activities such as the “Arthouse Pizza Championship” (Thursday 2 June), organised in association with Pizzamore the University of Pizza in the world, and the two eliminating rounds of the “World Championship of Mortar-crushed Genoese Pesto” (Saturday 4 June), promoted in partnership with the Palatifini Association.
