Vlore – Fashion and music, big success for 4th Gala Italia

The 4^th edition of “Gala Italia”, the event traditionally organized by the Italian Consulate General in Vlore and dedicated to Italian points of excellence in the world of music and fashion, was a big success. The event, which was recently held at the tourist marina of Orikum, is aimed at promoting Italian companies operating in Albania and Made-in-Italy products. This year the excellence of Italian fashion was represented by the Rome-based Luigi Borbone Fashion House, which presented 34 models from its last three collections. The participation of the Luigi Borbone Fashion House in the Gala Italia 2016, like that of Maison Giada Curti in last year’s edition, was co-organized by the Italian Consulate General and AltaRoma, the fashion event organizer in the city of Rome. The musical programme instead featured song-writer Chiara Dello Iacovo, who was highly acclaimed by the public and critics alike at the last edition of the Sanremo Song Festival. The more than 250 guests included the former President of the Repubbic of Albania, Alfred Moisiu, the Minister for Relations with Parliament, Ermonela Felaj, Prime Minister Fate Velaj’s diplomatic and cultural advisor, the Mayor of Vlore, Dritan Leli, and other Consulate officials.
