“Campiello al Fairmont”

On 12 October, to kick off the 18th edition of the Week of the Italian Language in the World, the Italian Embassy in Munich held the Campiello Literary Prize, a contemporary Italian novel-writing contest organised by the Fondazione II Campiello-Confindustria Veneto.

The speaker on behalf of the authors was Francesco Targhetta who won the second prize with his “Le vie potenziali” (Mondadori). The book narrates the story of three very different men who work at an IT company on the suburbs of Marghera. The theme is linked to the one chosen for the Week of the Italian Language in the World, which aims to explore the relationship that Italians have with the Internet and their close connection with the digital world.
